CEO and Financial Commentator Peter Schiff Joins Honorary Board of Our America Initiative

September 5, 2017, Salt Lake City – Peter Schiff, nationally known free market financial commentator and CEO of investment firm Euro Pacific Capital, has joined the Honorary Board of the Our America Initiative, a nonprofit organization advocating for smaller government, free markets, and civil liberties.

Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson serves as Honorary Chairman of Our America.

Other members of the organization’s Honorary Board include Judge Jim Gray (Ret.), Barry Goldwater Jr., John Mackey, co-founder of Whole Foods , former Louisiana Governor Buddy Roemer, and Alexander McCobin, president of Conscious Capitalism, and former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld.

Announcing the newest member of Our America’s leadership, Governor Johnson said, “One of Our America’s highest priorities is advocating free markets and getting the government out of the way of financial independence. Peter Schiff has long been one of the most powerful voices in the nation for those ideas. He is a great addition to our Honorary Board, and we are excited to have him on the team.”

The founder of Euro Pacific Capital and Euro Pacific Asset Management, Peter Schiff is a popular commentator on economics, finance, investing, and politics. He has twice testified before Congress and is the author of five bestselling books, including Crashproof and How an Economy Grows and Why it Crashes. He is a frequent guest on CNBC, the Fox Business Channel, and produces The Peter Schiff Show, a popular podcast.

Schiff’s principal broker-dealer business is based in Westport, Connecticut, and he also runs Euro Pacific Canada Inc., in Toronto, Euro Pacific Bank Ltd., an offshore bank based in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Euro Pacific Asset Management LLC, founded in Newport Beach, California, and relocated in 2013 to San Juan, Puerto Rico. His SchiffGold precious metals dealership is based in Manhattan.
